Buhoneros - Two young buhoneros push their cart past mannequins on their way to set up their stall in the Sabana Grande neighborhood of Caracas Friday, December 15, 2006. Buhoneros, thousands of workers who sell products from clothing and accessories to household goods and bootleg DVDs, make up the controversial "informal economy." While many Caracas residents complain that the buhoneros have taken over streets with their makeshift marketplace, many buhoneros give thanks to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez for allowing them a way to survive by creating their own small businesses.
